A post-doctoral position is available in the laboratory of Prof. Fornasari at the Department of Medical Biotechnology and Translational Medicine, University of Milan, to carry out research on transcription factor PHOX2B within the Telethon-funded project “New approaches to the molecular pathogenesis of CCHS: implications for therapeutic strategies”. Candidates must have completed their PhD before the date of application, and they have strong background in molecular biology, RNA extraction and qPCR, Mammalian cell colture, transient transfection and generation of stable clones, Biochemical techniques, Co-IP and 2D-gel. The position is available starting November 1st, 2013 and applications will be considered until the position is filled.
