Membership types and relative membership fee

Honorary Member Honorary membership is awarded to internationally renowned scientists over 70, previously SIBBM members. Honorary members are nominated by at least one SIBBM regular member, approved by the Executive Committee and voted by the General Meeting. The membership is free and permanent.

Junior Member

Junior Member

  • Reserved for applicants under the age of 35 who do not have a permanent position in universities or public or private research institutions.
  • The Junior member automatically passes the right to be a Regular Member at the age of 35, and have a track record of at least three publications in internationally referenced scientific journals or a permanent position in a public or private University or research organization.

  • This status is meant to allow the participation of Individuals, Institutes, Entities, Foundations, Associations and Private Companies to financially support the activities of the SIBBM.
